At packed hall at the Selby Centre on Friday 22nd May; residents, businesses, voluntary organisations and senior council officers came together to discuss how to reduce the racial inequality in the borough.
The event was put on by the Selby Trust and Black Training Enterprise Group (BTEG) with the support of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and the Runnymede Trust. Chaired by David Lammy MP speakers included Neale Coleman; Mayoral Advisor on Tottenham and Cllr Joe Goldberg; Executive Member for Economic Development and Social Inclusion.
